In reply to Rob Sylvan. Big Sur has so many other bugs as well (including boot times of up to 4 minutes on certain Fusion Drive systems) that I decided to downgrade to Catalina. The problem with the LrC issue under Big Sur is that it is impossible for us, users, to know whether it is Apple or Adobe engineers who can resolve the problem, if not both companies together.

In reply to The Keeper of the Garden. Adobe doesn't announce when new updates are going to be released, but we are certainly in need of one. Have you tried rolling back to a previous version of LrC?

Talking about zooming in on a photo… When is Adobe going to solve the problem that exists in LrC under macOS Big Sur: Wherever you zoom in on a photo (Library, Develop, Print… module), the photo appears as though it has lost its white balance setting, saturation, and contrast. Even worse, when you try to print using the “Zoom to Fill” option (basically whenever you want to print borderless), the same issue occurs and the photo looks very different from the edited version in LrC. This problem has been reported to Adobe right from the moment it was observed by those who upgraded their Macs to Big Sur, in November 2020. We are now more than three months later, and the problem still exists. It has forced me to revert to macOS Catalina.

Is this problem so unsurmountable?
