I checked any printer due to printing to an outside lab and still do not have the same. Is there something I’m missing?

I do my own color correction and get the image they way I want it to look on my computer, so I use the experts at the lab as my “back up” in case I missed something or messed something up. I have a Mac, and my monitor is so consistent that after years of doing so, I now no longer calibrate my monitor and I would say it’s around 3 – 5% from being dead-on color wise, so I don’t sweat it, but again, if they see something I don’t, I’m happy to have the pros at the lab fix it for me. After all, their monitor’s are calibrated to their printers (and probably recalibrated daily).:)

Hi, Marc: I haven’t had to go that route (using Canon’s software) as I haven’t had any over saturation problems whatsoever, but if you’re experiencing that, and just desaturating the image a bit in Lightroom doesn’t do the trick, then using Epson’s software might be your only choice.

you say that you always let the guys at the lab do color correction because they have calibrated monitors. Is your monitor not calibrated?
How should they know what you saw on your monitor?
What if in Twilight situations? Do you think, that they normalise the Foto locally with masks?
Best Regards

Under win 10, with a EPSON SC-P600 it is tedious to print from Lightroom. You must setup the printer on left panel and setup the right panel. the epson preview is over saturated because i specified to let LR manage colors,… very often I need to recheck both panels are still configured correctly.
I recently followed tutos from Matt Kloskowski and he showed EPSON studio software (free) and it works not so bad in fact, more fluent.
similar software exists for Canon.
what do you think ?

best regards
marc
