No criteria possible. Not even afterwards you can change anything in a smart way.

I also wonder why you can select color marks for individual folders as well as for selections. But if you create the collections from folders with color marks the color marks aren’t copied to the collection. Not well thought or a bug?

Thanks Eric, I think the question was of multiple copies not multiple collections? He then showed multiple images in a print form and I thought this wasn’t the question as he showed before that images can be in multiple collections. Maybe it’s just my understanding?

Rudi, virtual copies are completely different than the same image in multiple collections feature.

1. Kind of the definition of a collection, you can have photos from multiple folders
2. Images can be in multiple collections
3. You can sync them with mobile
4. Images are auto-stacked in collections when you use an external editor
5. There are no folders in the “chooser” in any module but Library
6. You can sync with the cloud on creation and then share with others, allow comments, picks, etc. This was a long one
7. Smart collections

But if you have to keep your folder structure (Year-> YYYY-MM-DD Event – City – Location) and you can’t create the collection structure automatically on top of this it’s a bit useless with more than 450.000 images in the catalog. I just wanna point to the root and then say create collections (incl. criteria) like the folders are structured including subfolders. That would be helpful. That’s why I only use collections in a limited way.

In addition: If I work in folders and edit in photoshop the edited photo also shows up next to the one edited. Multiply copies of the images can be done by creating virtual copies!

You’re a great teacher and I always learn something watching your videos.

Thanks
Mark
