something not clear for me.
raw is the best format for image processing. but if i am correct raw doesn’t contain depth mask.so we need to use a “destructive format” heic, kind of imporved jpg to have this feature. correct ?

i have recently seen an intersting tuto about news in photoshop 2020 and it is in field blur filter, depth mask where we can use a heic but also create an alpha channel with gaded grys made with a brus and apply to that filter. looks great !
