Wait, wait, wait! I’ve tried editing video clips in Lightroom and if you import a video and then go to the Develop Module, you get this mean little warning above. So…how do you get around this? Watch the quick little one-minute or so video below (you’ll be surprised).

I told ya you’d be surprised. Amazingly easy (and totally hidden if you weren’t looking for it). Thanks to Terry White for this one.

I will include this amazing trick in my personal work, thanks
That’s brilliant. I thought. you were just going to reveal the trim top and tail option but this is great. (@Steve Boyko – It does apply to the exported file – at least B&W effect did.)
Thank you for this!!! So very helpful to me :).
Brillant thankyou
Thanks for the info I’ll try this one for my project in editing videos.

You can also apply any preset.
Hope at last. Thanks!
You’re Doing it Wrong! Capture frame, go to develop, do what you want, then sync with the movie!
filhalandilas has it right. If you capture a still frame from the video, you can edit that in the Develop module and then copy/paste the settings to the video.
That’s interesting, but can you export it afterward, or is this just affecting how you’ll see it when you play it within Lightroom?
Thanks!
