At the very outset of Adobe Lightroom I worked a a Beta tester contributing to Martin’s own excellent work on it. Adobe is not what it was, that’s for sure and we, in the photographic community have lost a really fine guy, technically competent, warm and friendly. Sleep well Martin – job so very well done!

I was so saddened and shocked when I first heard this news. He truly was a kind, brilliant, and giving soul. His legacy lives on.

We will miss Martin Evening and we appreciate all of his contributions to Photoshop and Lightroom over the years.

I was really upset to hear the news. Martin (and Jeff too) were so gracious to me back when I was starting doing Lightroom tutorials. I wouldn’t have written books, made videos, or done conferences without having had his help and encouragement.

So sad Martin passed away. I was at that event in Stockholm and talked to both of you. I even had contact with Martin a couple of times after that and he was such a great bloke.
