Does holding the fn key on your keyboard when pressing any of the Function keys (F7, & F8) make it work?

On my iMac, using the most recent version of Lightroom Classic CC, only F5 & F6 work as shortcuts to change the viewing area. F7 & F8 do not. I tried all 3 settings on each side panel – Auto Hide & Show, Auto Hide, & Manual to see if that would make a difference, but it does not.

Any help to get these shortcuts working would be appreciated.
