Sure, that would be a simpler workflow, but you would be creating a copy (TIF or PSD), and the edits would be in the embedded SO. The workflow I outlined keeps all the edits in the source raw file so that when the feature comes to LrC you have the edits already.

Another route would be to send a copy to Ps then use Camera Raw as a filter.

I have always enjoyed your articles. Wouldn’t it work, and be a little simpler, to do your LRc work, then open in PS as a smart object, double click the SO and then have access to CR’s curves?
