Yes, that is a problem when using Heal or Clone. Have you tried switching to Remove? You don’t need to tap Done each time then. Here’s a conversation with Adobe about the change, please weigh in with your experience: https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-ecosystem-cloud-based-ideas/p-please-remove-the-done-button-in-remove-heal-spots/idi-p/13278056

Did you also notice that after the Lightroom update to version 8 for iPad the healing brush and clone tool are basically unusable? Before you could remove several blemishes in one go then click Done and save your changes. Now you have to click Done after selecting EVERY SINGLE SPOT. It makes the process several times longer! Deleting the selected healed area upon a double click is not available anymore either, I used it all the time. Also the tool doesn’t memorize the type of brush you selected for the next photo, which makes the flow of editing several photos in a row broken, too.

I have an impression that this update makes the app basically useless for skin retouch…

In rare cases of needing luminosity masks offered by 3rd parties (lumenzia, TK..which I have never understood apart from Lightroom , Lightroom is becoming a stand alone platform .

Well, seeing as it is only a technology preview on Mac only, it clearly has a ways to go for development. I see no reason why it wouldn’t make it into Lightroom Classic down the road.

I was wondering if you might know if Adobe Plans to add the new HDR feature {Currently in ACR} to Lightroom Classic?

Thanks again,

Dennis
